As part of a concierge membership, can Dr. Weisz treat me at my home?
Recently with the global pandemic, many patients in Jupiter, Tequesta, Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens are seeking a more private interaction with Dr. Weisz. On a case by case basis, Dr. Weisz will evaluate the need for a home visit should it be necessary.
Does your medical practice draw blood for lab testing during an office visit?

At Weisz Concierge Medical, patients can have their blood drawn during a medical visit.  Our medical assistant has years of experience working with blood draws.  If a patient does not have health insurance, we offer very discounted prices for lab testing.

How do I become a new patient/member of Weisz Concierge Medical?

How does Weisz Concierge Medical differ from a traditional practice?
You will see and feel the difference immediately when you visit us at Weisz Concierge Medical.  Our reception area is calm and inviting and our office staff is friendly.  You will experience very short, if any, wait times to see me.  Office visits will never feel rushed, so we have ample time to address all of your health concerns.  Because my practice is limited to just a few hundred patients, I have the privilege of knowing all of my patients personally and can take the extra time for a proactive approach to your wellness. My goal is to provide you and your family with an experience that will not just meet but exceed your healthcare expectations.

Is there a limit to how many patients can join Weisz Concierge Medical?

Yes.  Weisz Concierge Medical offers a more personal approach to medical care.  The practice limits membership to a minimal pool of patients in order to maintain efficiency and increase time with patients.

What does the membership plan include?
Your membership covers all of the primary care services we offer in our office. This includes in-office visits, home and extended facility visits as necessary, hospital visits, minor office procedures, joint and trigger point injections, EKGs, diagnostic and wellness exams, phone calls, video conferencing and arrangement to see specialists with direct doctor to doctor communication. You are charged our transparent membership fee and that’s it. No co-pays or extra fees for other services.I am available nights and weekends so you may reach me wherever you are and whenever you need to do so via phone, email or text messaging.You will enjoy greater convenience and peace of mind and may also find a reduced need for visits to specialists and the emergency room.In addition, you will have direct access to your medical records.
What if I already have insurance?

Our practice is in network with various health insurances. Currently we accept  Cigna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Medicare and Aetna. Just like traditional medical practices, your health insurance will be charged with each medical appointment. Patients appreciate efficiency and open access to  their doctor as this is the main attraction to become a concierge member. The reason why consumers favor a concierge medical practice for medical care is for a more intimate, personalized experience and one on one time with the physician. This unhurried medical care model is desirable for those proactive in their health care journey.

What if I have Medicare?

To date, our concierge practice accepts Medicare,  Aetna, Cigna  and Blue Cross and Blue Shield health insurance.  If you chose to join our medical practice and our office does not accept your insurance, you may be subject to an out of network fee for services.  For individuals with health insurance not in network, Dr. Weisz medical services may be  considered a non-participating provider and require an out of pocket fee; however, Dr. Weisz’s  orders for prescription medications and labs are still honored.

What if I need a specialist?

As your primary care physician, Dr. Alla Weisz has undergone extensive training  to handle a majority of patient’s health care needs.  However, in the event that a patient may benefit from additional medical expertise, Dr. Alla Weisz would be happy to refer patients to a trusted specialist.  She will find the right physican and make certain that care is timely coordinated. This referral process will include direct physician-to-physician consultation prior to the appointment with the specialist and direct coordination of your visit. In addition, after the appointment, Dr. Weisz will review any questions or concerns and address these issues with the patient at an office appointment or by phone, email, or video conference.

What if I want to end my concierge membership?

At Weisz Concierge Medical, our relationship is based on mutual respect and trust. If you should become dissatisfied with Dr. Weisz’s care, or if circumstances arise such as a move you are welcome to cancel your membership at any time without obligation as long as you give us 30 days notice.  We will refund memberships paid on a prorated basis.

A membership plan works for any individual who wishes to actively participate in the overall improvement of their health and staying well.  Patients that desire easy and direct communication with their trusted physician is typically the type of patient who may be attracted to a concierge boutique style medical practice.

Even though Dr. Weisz has been practicing medicine for years in Palm Beach County, Weisz Concierge Medical has been around since April 2019.    Currently Weisz Concierge Medical welcomes new patients from surrounding cities such as Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens,  Palm Beach, Tequesta, North Palm Beach and Juno Beach.

Will Weisz Concierge Medical provide more efficient care?

As a primary care practice, Weisz Concierge Medical  can handle the vast majority of your health issues and concerns, eliminating unncessary emergency room and urgent care clinic copays or fees. Studies show that the concierge model of care reduces the need for unnecessary medications, more expensive testing and unnecessary referral to specialists.  It is more likely to prevent unnecessary emergency room visits and hospitalizations.

Will you see patient in the hospital?

Dr. Alla Weisz will make courtesy visits to the hospitals where she is on staff. Currently, Dr. Weisz has hospital privileges at Jupiter Medical Center and Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center.  She will discuss your case with the hospitalist, review your plan of care, and answer questions and make recommendations to make your stay as comfortable and positive as possible.  Hospital admissions are stressful and are often confusing for patients and their families.  During hospital admissions, patients will be assigned to a hospitalist with whom Dr. Weisz is familiar with and has established a working relationship. These physicians are available in the hospital 24 hours a day and specialize only in hospital care.  Dr. Weisz will act as your health care advocate, making sure that you receive the utmost care and proper treatment.  Patient can expect Dr. Weisz to coordinate services on behalf of her patients.  Patients can count on Dr. Weisz to communicate with patients and their family members regularly during a hospital stay and she is  available should a problem arise.
